Purpose and aims of the CRDC UK Network

The CRDC UK Network has been established to support a coordinated, standardised and accessible approach to commercial clinical research delivery through the CRDCs across the UK.

Reducing system complexity

The Network aims to simplify how the UK research system is experienced by industry by:

Enabling coordination across, and with, CRDCs

Improving visibility of UK commercial trial delivery capability

Providing clear routes into other research infrastructure

Improving coordination across delivery

Through UK-wide coordination, the Network supports:

  • Consistent approaches to feasibility and study set-up
  • Alignment of trial delivery activity across Centres
  • Excellent communication across delivery partners

Strengthening the UK research environment

Working closely with the CRDCs and other research infrastructure, the Network is the foundation to a stronger and more accessible UK offer for commercial clinical research.
